About the role
Join EY's Tax Controversy and Risk Management (TCRM) team, one of the UK's largest tax dispute resolution groups. The team supports businesses across London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh in navigating complex tax controversies and engaging proactively with HMRC.
Key responsibilities
- Support delivery of tax controversy projects with technical and commercial excellence.
- Liaise with clients and coordinate with broader tax and account teams.
- Drive activities to achieve effective tax outcomes and certainty for clients.
- Assist in preparing SAO certification, tax strategy publications and Business Risk Review discussions.
Required profile
- ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent, or Tax Inspector experience (Grade 7+ for manager level).
- Background in corporate tax compliance or advisory, with interest in controversy and dispute resolution.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret tax statutes and deliver quality output.
- Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
