About the role
This full‑time Teaching Assistant position starts in September at an outstanding all‑girls school in central London. The role supports pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4, offering both academic and pastoral assistance in a well‑resourced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils who require additional help within the classroom.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group academic assistance for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture and offer emotional support when needed.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and use positive reinforcement techniques.
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
Required profile
- Open to candidates at any stage of their teaching assistant career, including recent graduates.
- Desire to develop a school‑based career, potentially progressing to teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and support inclusive learning.
