Teaching Assistant – KS1 – Verwood – September start

About the role

A friendly primary school in Verwood is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its Key Stage 1 team from September. You will work closely with class teachers and support staff to help pupils thrive in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support KS1 pupils throughout the school day, assisting with learning and development.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver classroom activities, interventions and pupil engagement.
• Help create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Assist with classroom organisation, resources and pupil supervision.

Required profile

• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting (desirable).
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Patient, caring, enthusiastic and a good team player.
