About the role
The Teaching Assistant will join a small, inclusive primary school community in Whaddon Village. Working closely with qualified teachers, you will help deliver a high‑quality curriculum and provide pastoral care for all pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance, especially for pupils with special educational needs.
- Deliver administrative and welfare support, including record‑keeping and monitoring attendance.
- Supervise children during playtime, lunchtimes and other school activities.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching resources and classroom materials.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic attitude with initiative, common sense and a sense of humour.
- Commitment to the school’s Christian values and inclusive ethos.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Salary range £24,836 – £25,823 per annum.
- Full‑time fixed‑term contract.
