About the role

Join Witherslack Group as a Teaching Assistant in the brand‑new Bowersgate School, supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The role starts in September/October 2026 and offers a rewarding environment where small victories make a big impact.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pupils during lessons, helping them engage and achieve learning goals.
• Support the development of pupils' abilities, confidence and self‑esteem.
• Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized plans.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and well‑resourced classroom environment.
