Team Leader - Flaming Grill, Gateshead

About the role

Flaming Grill, part of Greene King, is hiring a full-time, permanent Team Leader for its pub in Gateshead. The role is about leading by example so that shifts run smoothly, keeping high standards and making sure customers stay happy. The pay is up to £13.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example and make sure the team has what they need so the shift runs like clockwork.
• Keep the team to high standards and ensure customers are kept happy.
• Depute for the management team and resolve issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during busy shifts.
• Make sure the bar is safe, legal and clean, and deal with any issues quickly and safely.

Required profile

• A great eye for detail, making sure every pint is poured to perfection.
• Role model to the team on giving great service and welcoming every customer warmly.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenges during a busy shift.
• Positive, can-do attitude and a real team player.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
