About the role
As a Team Manager at our Livingston bakery you will lead a shift‑based team on a rotating 3‑shift pattern, ensuring strong performance across safety, quality and cost KPIs. You will translate operational strategy into daily actions, drive team engagement and support the continuous improvement journey of the site.
Key responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement of the quality system to eliminate repeat failures and raise standards.
- Develop and optimise operational processes to maximise performance and efficiency.
- Lead the operations team to improve plant output and consistency.
- Implement and manage site‑wide operational improvement plans.
- Monitor and report on safety, quality and cost KPIs.
- Coordinate shift schedules, alternating between night and day shifts to ensure leadership presence.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work across rotating shift patterns.
- Strong focus on safety, quality and cost performance.
- Track record of delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication and people‑leadership skills.
