About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Technical Help Desk Specialist to join our team on a 6‑month contract. Based in London with a hybrid work model, you will be the first point of contact for users needing assistance with hardware and software issues, providing clear and efficient support in both English and Italian.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve user inquiries related to software and hardware, handling low‑to‑medium complexity tickets.
- Perform remote software installations and hardware testing to ensure optimal device performance.
- Execute system commands, monitor system health, and proactively detect errors.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, problems, remedial actions, and installations.
- Consult technical manuals and conduct diagnostics to investigate persistent issues.
Required profile
- Associate’s degree or equivalent training in a computer‑related field.
- Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a daily ticket queue.
