Technical Infrastructure Architect – On‑Premise Identity Solutions

About the role

CGI is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Architect to design and deliver a next‑generation on‑premise identity solution. You will shape the architecture of a secure IAM platform that underpins critical client systems, ensuring resilience, trust and seamless connectivity across complex environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of a new on‑premise identity solution using Windows Server 2022, Active Directory and ADFS.
• Define technical standards, principles and direction for a secure IAM environment.
• Mentor engineering teams through build and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with design intent.
• Design and configure federation services, single sign‑on (SSO) and role‑based access control (RBAC) models.
• Collaborate with security, networking and application teams to guarantee smooth integration and operational readiness.
• Produce comprehensive architecture documentation and provide ongoing governance for solution stability and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience architecting and delivering Microsoft‑based identity solutions in secure or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS and federation technologies.
• Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on technical depth.
• Excellent communication and collaborative problem‑solving skills.
