Technical & IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Technical & IT Support Engineer to join a specialist business in Aylesbury. The role blends engineering support for specialist equipment with everyday IT assistance for office and field staff, offering a varied and people‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults on specialist equipment, both remotely and in‑workshop.
• Support field engineers with live technical queries and breakdowns.
• Coordinate repairs and maintain accurate service records.
• Provide first‑line IT support for Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory issues.
• Assist with onboarding/off‑boarding, equipment setup and IT asset tracking.
• Liaise with central IT teams for escalations and ensure high‑quality customer service via phone and remote tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT or technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Detail‑oriented, practical and comfortable working with people.
• Interest or background in engineering/electronics (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.
