Technical Lead – Microsoft 365 & Unified Communications

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive our Microsoft 365 and Unified Communications initiatives at our Crawley site. The role will oversee the design, deployment, and integration of Teams Rooms solutions and Cisco hardware within a secure, cloud‑based architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the installation and configuration of Cisco hardware to align with the new M365/UC backend architecture.
• Design and present technical solutions to Architectural Review Boards (ARB).
• Manage the deployment of Microsoft Teams Rooms, including profile creation, firmware updates, and UI settings via the Teams Admin Centre.
• Ensure hybrid Exchange integration for meeting‑room resource accounts and calendar synchronization.
• Provide architectural and delivery leadership across hosting and security domains.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 and Teams Rooms projects at a senior level (SFIA level 5).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide hardware installations and present technical designs to senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with unified communications environments, particularly Cisco RoomOS and related device families.
• Understanding of Azure AD/Entra ID for device and room identity management.
