About the role
We are seeking a Temporary Financial Accountant for an immediate start on a hybrid basis in Falmouth. This short‑term assignment will focus on inventory accounting while supporting the wider finance function of a well‑established Cornish business.
Key responsibilities
- Support inventory accounting, reconciliations and stock reporting.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain robust financial controls and governance.
- Provide ad‑hoc support across the finance team as priorities shift.
- Assist with payroll and other finance‑related activities when required.
- Collaborate with operational and non‑finance stakeholders.
- Identify and recommend improvements to processes and controls.
Required profile
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant (part‑qualified candidates also considered).
- Experience in manufacturing or stock‑based environments is advantageous.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to hit the ground running.
