Territory Sales Manager – Retail

About the role

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager – Retail to join our award‑winning field marketing agency. This full‑time position (40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday) is based in Altrincham and focuses on driving brand growth within the UK’s leading grocery retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Visit the top four grocery retailers following a defined call plan.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers in stores.
• Negotiate shelf space and distribution to maximise product availability.
• Act as the “eyes and ears” for Tactical Solutions, gathering competitor intelligence and identifying opportunities.
• Execute calls efficiently using our bespoke tablets and the Drive software system.
• Accurately record all visit data in real time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, convenience or retail environments.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a talent for building credible store relationships.
• Motivated by results and passionate about increasing brand awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Drive software system on tablet devices.
