Trainee Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Accountant to join our finance team in South West London. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in core accounting functions while you work towards a professional qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Process invoices, payments and other financial transactions
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial records
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes
• Work closely with experienced finance professionals to develop your skills

Required profile

• Strong interest in accounting and finance
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Recent graduate, college leaver, or someone starting a career in accounting
