Trainee Lettings Consultant – Residential Property

About the role

Join a well‑established independent estate agency in Upminster as a Trainee Lettings Consultant. This full‑time position offers a clear pathway into the residential lettings sector, providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you launch a long‑term career in property.

Key responsibilities

• Register prospective tenants and understand their property requirements
• Build knowledge of the agency’s property portfolio
• Arrange and conduct property viewings
• Carry out routine property inspections on behalf of landlords
• Negotiate tenancy offers between landlords and tenants
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the lettings process
• Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and applicants
• Support the wider lettings team with day‑to‑day branch activities

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service experience in an office‑based environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic, driven and eager to build a successful career in property
• Professional, positive and customer‑focused approach
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)
