Trainee Mortgage Administrator – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Mortgage Administrator to join our supportive financial services team in Horsham. This full‑time, office‑based position offers a clear development pathway into mortgage and protection advising.

Key responsibilities

• Support the mortgage and protection team with end‑to‑end case management.
• Manage client cases through to completion, meeting deadlines and service levels.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, lenders and providers.
• Handle client queries efficiently and professionally.
• Assist with research and preparation of suitability letters (training provided).
• Work closely with advisers to ensure a smooth, high‑quality client experience.

Required profile

• Professional and friendly approach.
• Previous administration experience with customer communication.
• Proactive, “can‑do” attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and teamwork.
• Interest in building a career within financial services.

Required skills

• Administration and case‑management experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office).

• Salary £25,000‑£35,000 per year, dependent on experience.
