Trainer – Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Training

About the role

As a Trainer at Amazon you will be responsible for onboarding and upskilling employees on Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety and operational standards. You will work on‑site at a fulfillment centre, delivering both in‑person and virtual training to staff across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver internal PIT training in line with Amazon safety and operational standards.
• Coach employees and managers on best practices for safe equipment use.
• Review and improve site‑training completion rates together with managers and associates.
• Gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities and streamline the training experience.
• Audit safety, quality and process metrics across the site.
• Maintain learning tracking systems and complete required paperwork.
• Monitor PIT operator performance, report safety results and adjust training accordingly.
• Advise associates and managers on PIT safety procedures and company standards.

Required profile

• Experience delivering training or coaching in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of Powered Industrial Truck safety and operational standards.
• Ability to work independently on‑site while collaborating with site staff and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail for auditing and reporting safety performance.
