Transaction Reporting, Controls Business Analyst (Fixed Term 18 Months)

About the role

Macquarie is looking for a Controls Business Analyst for a fixed-term role of 18 months in London. The post strengthens the controls behind accurate and effective transaction reporting across global markets, within a team focused on regulatory transformation. You will identify risk, improve processes and controls and help respond to evolving regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assess reporting and operational risks and identify control gaps
• Develop processes and controls that reduce risk and strengthen the reporting environment
• Work with stakeholders across business, technology and compliance
• Lead requirements workshops and contribute to remediation and regulatory change initiatives
• Analyse data, processes and systems to find opportunities for improvement

Required profile

• Strong business analysis experience, able to assess processes, identify operational and reporting risks and develop practical controls and solutions
• Experience organising and leading workshops with diverse stakeholders to gather, clarify and prioritise business requirements
• Effective communication and stakeholder management, able to collaborate across business, technology and compliance teams while managing multiple priorities
• Experience in transaction reporting, including understanding of transaction flows, operational processes or regulatory requirements, is highly advantageous
