Transport Manager

About the role

DX Network Services is seeking a Transport Manager to lead fleet compliance and vehicle maintenance for its Leeds depot. You will ensure licences, inspections and driver checks are up to date while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fleet compliance for the depot, including service planning and adherence to company policy.
• Ensure timely completion of vehicle inspections, tachograph calibrations and Road Fund Licence (RFL) renewals.
• Carry out driver licence checks for PAYE, agency and subcontractor drivers and maintain monthly licence mandates.
• Oversee pre‑use and end‑of‑use vehicle checks and record results in line with policy.
• Conduct subcontractor reviews and produce reporting to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Friendly, hard‑working team player with a proactive attitude.
• CPC Manager qualification (National or International).
• Specialist knowledge of driver and vehicle legislation.
• Experience in transport compliance and fleet management.
