Transport Operator

About the role

Movianto is seeking a Transport Operator to join its Dartford site. You will support daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries are processed accurately and on time while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scanning, manifesting and tracking of daily deliveries in line with SOPs.
• Brief and debrief drivers using TMS, Verilocation, Tachomaster, Odyssey and Fleet Check, ensuring paperwork is signed.
• Resolve delivery and collection issues promptly and support drivers throughout their routes.
• Maintain compliance with DVSA, health & safety regulations, inspections, MOTs and incident reporting.
• Support TMS maintenance, booking deliveries, handling temperature deviations and cross‑dock activity.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, multitasking and prioritisation skills.
• Strong understanding of driver hours regulations and health & safety standards.
• Professional, reliable, punctual and accountable with a solid work ethic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management System (TMS) and related tools such as Verilocation, Tachomaster, Odyssey and Fleet Check.
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to operate a forklift (FLT licence preferred).
