About the role
We are partnering with a leading medical malpractice insurer to hire an Underwriter for their growing Insurance Solutions business. The role focuses on underwriting UK corporate healthcare risks across the medical malpractice portfolio, developing new business and managing broker relationships throughout London and the wider region.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite UK corporate healthcare risks, including GP surgeries, clinics and other medical providers.
- Develop new business opportunities within the medical malpractice market.
- Manage and nurture relationships with brokers across London and regional markets.
- Provide technical underwriting expertise and oversee portfolio management.
Required profile
- Proven experience in underwriting medical malpractice or related healthcare insurance.
- Strong understanding of UK corporate healthcare risk environments.
- Ability to generate new business and maintain broker networks.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
