US Tax Specialist

About the role
The client is a global infrastructure business seeking a US‑trained tax specialist to join their London office. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will support a range of international projects while taking ownership of US tax compliance at both state and national levels.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Tax on global tax initiatives and cross‑border projects.
- Manage US federal and state tax compliance, ensuring timely filings and accurate reporting.
- Lead national US tax projects and provide guidance on multi‑jurisdictional tendering processes.
- Liaise with Big 4 outsourced providers operating in the Americas to coordinate tax services and resolve issues.
Required profile
- CPA qualification (or equivalent US tax certification).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
