Utility Surveyor

About the role

Tetra Tech is looking for a Utility Surveyor to deliver accurate underground utility surveys for infrastructure and development projects. You will work both independently and within a collaborative team, using specialised equipment to capture field data and produce PAS 128‑compliant deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct underground utility surveys using GPR, EM and GNSS equipment.
• Capture precise field data and generate deliverables that meet PAS 128 standards.
• Produce clear outputs through Autodesk and GIS platforms.
• Interact with clients on‑site to understand requirements and provide technical advice.
• Travel to project sites as required, often across multiple locations.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in utility surveying.
• Proven competence with GPR and EM equipment.
• Good understanding of PAS 128 standards.
• Experience using AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
