Validation Engineer / Quality Engineer – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Validation Engineer / Quality Engineer to join our team in Witney on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role will involve driving new product introductions, supporting a major cleanroom expansion, and managing validation activities across equipment and processes within a regulated medical device/pharma environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new product introductions.
• Support cleanroom expansion by executing equipment and process validation.
• Manage validation changes on existing machinery and drive continuous improvement.
• Review and approve change controls for UK, US, and third‑party manufacturers.
• Write, execute, and own validation protocols rather than merely reviewing documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or related field.
• Background in the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
• Self‑starting attitude with strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Ability to work autonomously and interact with global stakeholders.
