Validation Technician

About the role

Catch 22 is seeking an experienced Validation Technician to deliver testing, validation and certification services for cleanrooms, laboratories and other controlled environments across the South East of England. The role combines hands‑on site work with technical reporting, requiring travel and occasional overnight stays at client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform validation, testing and certification of cleanroom and containment systems, including HEPA filters, laminar flow units and fume cupboards.
• Collect and analyse performance data, conduct particle counting and other specialist measurements.
• Interpret results and produce compliance reports that meet ISO 14644, HSG258 and EU GMP Annex 1 standards.
• Travel to client sites across Oxfordshire and the wider region, staying overnight as required.
• Mentor junior technicians and act as a technical lead on site activities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in cleanroom, LEV or containment validation within regulated environments.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent technical reporting skills.
• Professional attitude and ability to work independently on field assignments.

• BOHS P601‑P604 or W201 qualifications (advantageous)
