Valuation Manager – Financial Services

About the role

The Valuation Manager will lead financial analysis, industry and market research to support a range of projects, with a focus on the financial services sector. The role is pivotal in delivering high‑quality insights and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise financial analysis and valuation modelling processes.
• Oversee research on target industries, markets and competitors.
• Conduct and manage client interviews to gather engagement data.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with management.
• Review and present analyses and conclusions in comprehensive written reports.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure high standards of work quality.

Required profile

• Extensive valuation experience in the financial services sector, preferably from a reputable accounting or advisory firm.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or CFA.
• Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Business; postgraduate degree is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
