Vehicle Inspector – Milton Keynes

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Inspector to join our Milton Keynes team and carry out thorough inspections of returned vehicles. The role ensures each vehicle meets BVRLA fair wear and tear standards, supports remarketing operations and assists with vehicle movements across our compound.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed vehicle inspections within 72 hours, covering service history, interior, tyre tread, windscreen, bodywork, MOT and RFL data.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and manage the yard by moving and parking vehicles correctly.
• Conduct off‑site inspections at customer locations, with travel expenses covered.
• Deliver and collect vehicles safely to/from customers, dealerships, repair centres, auction sites and other locations.
• Support the company’s Consumer Duty by prioritising customer needs and upholding high consumer protection standards.

Required profile

• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in vehicle inspections.
• Knowledge of BVRLA Fair Wear & Tear standards (desirable).
• Understanding of vehicle body repair techniques and damage identification (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in compound management (desirable).
