Vehicle Technician

About the role

Join Hedin Automotive’s BMW workshop team as a Vehicle Technician, working on the full range of BMW and MINI vehicles. You will use the latest diagnostic tools and service technology while developing your expertise through training at the BMW UK Training Academy.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and complex fault diagnosis on customer, stock, and retail vehicles.
• Perform repairs and replace components to BMW/MINI UK standards.
• Complete video health checks and CitNow reports for customers.
• Road‑test vehicles when required and advise on additional repair needs.
• Meet productivity, quality, and safety targets.

Required profile

• IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a professional automotive service or repair environment; BMW/MINI experience is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the UK with a clean UK driving licence (minimum one year).

Required skills

• Vehicle diagnostics using BMW‑specific tools.
• Complex vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Road testing and safety verification.

What we offer

• Competitive basic salary with OTE between £50,000‑£60,000 per annum.
