Videographer

About the role

The Videographer plays a key role in capturing and producing high-quality video content that brings Coventry City FC to life across digital and social platforms. Reporting to the Content Manager, the role covers matchday action, behind-the-scenes access and commercial campaigns. It is based at Coventry Football Stadium.

Key responsibilities

• Film and edit video for matchdays, training sessions, press conferences, player features and commercial activations, including live coverage on matchdays and quick-turnaround edits.
• Edit content into platform-native formats for social media, website and broadcast, delivering highlights, short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and longer storytelling pieces.
• Add graphics, subtitles and branding in line with club guidelines.
• Brainstorm and pitch new video concepts with the Content Manager and work with Social Media Executives on integrated campaigns.
• Cover community appearances, commercial shoots and fan engagement events.
• Maintain video equipment, handle file management and archive and deliver video assets to the club.
• Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and travel as required by the fixture list.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a videographer, ideally in sport, media or entertainment.
• Strong camera operation, lighting and sound skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong creative eye and flexibility for irregular hours and travel.
• Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
• Understanding of social media platforms and video best practices.
