Voids Administrator

About the role

A leading Housing Association in Slough is seeking a Voids Administrator to support the efficient delivery of its responsive repairs and voids service. The role coordinates void refurbishment works, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate void works, deploying operatives and contractors efficiently to meet agreed timescales.
• Serve as the central point of contact between contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and contractual requirements.
• Issue work orders, variations, and update job statuses using the computerized repairs management system.
• Proactively manage diaries, workloads, and priorities to minimise delays and maximise productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of scheduling data, job completion updates, and contractor performance.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and service improvements within the repairs and voids function.

Required profile

• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation abilities.
• Understanding of contractor management and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience scheduling or coordinating repairs or voids works within a housing or property services environment (desirable).
