Warehouse Operative – Milton Keynes

About the role

Our client, a growing logistics business in Milton Keynes, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. You will support day‑to‑day operations, ensuring stock is handled accurately, safely and efficiently within a 42.5‑hour rolling shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock checks and perpetual inventory counts.
• Book goods in and out using the warehouse management system.
• Load and unload vehicles safely, operating forklift trucks and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate records, label stock, and update warehouse systems.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organised and compliant with health & safety policies.
• Support other business areas and occasionally work at additional sites.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Good IT skills and experience with stock control systems.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Reach Truck Licence
• Powered Pedestrian Truck Licence
