Wireperson / Electrical Technician – £40k‑£45k Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a Wireperson / Electrical Technician to join a multi‑million‑pound industrial equipment manufacturer in Morecambe. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, based in a purpose‑built workshop where you will work on the assembly, testing and build of electro‑mechanical equipment for the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, test and repair electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Wire and install control panels according to schematics.
• Perform mechanical assembly of pumps, motors and related components.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support overtime shifts to maximise production output.

Required profile

• Experience in electro‑mechanical assembly or a related trade (fitter, assembler, engineer).
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Able to commute to Morecambe (commutable from Heysham, Middleton, Lancaster, Garstang, Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn).
• Looking for a stable, permanent, full‑time position.
