As a Workforce Planning & Talent Officer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our HR services, ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right places to achieve our ambitious vision for Stoke-on-Trent.

Missions principales

  • Provide strategic workforce planning services across all directorates, collaborating with HR Business Partners and managers to identify current and future staffing needs.
  • Partner with Organizational Development, Training, Recruitment, and Talent teams to bridge skill gaps and align training activities with workforce requirements.
  • Utilize HR metrics and workforce analytics to drive evidence-based planning, monitoring trends, risks, and benchmarking.
  • Lead talent identification and succession planning processes, supporting performance management and targeted development initiatives.
  • Design and implement youth engagement initiatives, including internships, work experience, and T-levels, to build a future talent pipeline.

Profil recherché

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, talent management, or a strategic HR role.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate HR data into actionable strategic insights.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and senior managers.
  • A proactive approach to identifying talent gaps and implementing long-term succession solutions.
