Year 1 Primary Teacher (Full‑time Temporary)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 1 Primary Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Enfield. The role is a full‑time, term‑time position starting in September 2026 and running until July 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Year 1 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Mark student work, maintain accurate records and provide feedback.
- Organise and attend parents’ evenings and other school events.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and complete required training.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience teaching EYFS/KS1/KS2 in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
