About the role
Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Whitstable to recruit enthusiastic Year 3 teachers. The role involves supporting pupils as they transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 3 classes.
- Support pupils in developing confidence, independence and resilience.
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to monitor pupil progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Experience teaching in primary education, preferably Lower KS2.
- Strong classroom management and ability to inspire pupils.
- Commitment to pupil achievement and collaborative school culture.
