About the role
A welcoming primary school in Didcot is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join its permanent team from September 2026. The role offers the chance to inspire young learners, contribute to a collaborative community and develop professionally through ongoing training.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can succeed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practice.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development.

Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice.
- Excellent communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities.
- Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for every child.
