About the role

Prolific is seeking experienced accounting professionals to join its Expert Network and help train cutting‑edge AI models. As a participant, you will evaluate financial documents, provide guidance to AI systems, and ensure outputs meet professional accounting standards. The work is fully remote and paid by the hour.

Key responsibilities

• Review complex financial statements, audit reports, and regulatory filings for accuracy and completeness.
• Answer targeted questions that help AI models interpret technical accounting language.
• Fact‑check AI‑generated outputs to confirm alignment with accounting standards.
• Provide feedback that bridges human expertise and machine learning.

Required profile

• Formal accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot nuances in financial documentation.
• Critical thinking and logical reasoning applied to accounting scenarios.
• Reliability to complete independent, ad‑hoc assignments on a flexible schedule.
• A PayPal account for receiving payments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Prolific platform and standard web‑based document viewing tools.
