Administration Assistant – Continence (12‑month fixed‑term)

About the role
This 12‑month fixed‑term position provides administrative and secretarial support to the SPHERE Bladder & Bowel Service within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Working from Castlemilk Health Centre, you will help ensure timely provision of continence products for patients across the health board.
Key responsibilities
- Support the team administrator in auditing product use and costs.
- Review ordering and supply of continence products for care homes and community patients.
- Manage telephone and email enquiries, updating the product supply database.
- Liaise with patients, carers, care‑home staff and other health professionals.
- Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory clinical training.
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection, Freedom of Information, and patient confidentiality policies.
- Maintain good working relationships and refer complex issues to senior team members.
Required profile
- Relevant administration or business support experience.
- Experience in health or social care is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and professionals.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
