AI Education Consultant – French (QTS) – Remote

About the role
This fully remote, part‑time position supports a national project to benchmark AI tutoring tools for French language education. The role runs until 30 September 2026 and requires 5‑10 flexible hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Design realistic student‑teacher dialogues covering French grammar, vocabulary and comprehension.
- Develop benchmarking criteria to test AI translation accuracy and conversational syntax.
- Score AI responses and create rubrics that evaluate how effectively the AI guides learners.
- Collaborate with web‑based platforms and ensure linguistic accuracy across multilingual character sets.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with verified experience teaching French in English secondary schools.
- Specific experience teaching Year 9 French.
- Comfortable using web‑based platforms and possessing a reliable laptop and internet connection.
- Optional safeguarding or SEND experience is highly valued.
- Desirable experience delivering MFL teacher training or 1:1 French tutoring.
