AI Education Consultant – German QTS

About the role
This remote, part‑time position supports a national project that benchmarks AI‑driven German language tutoring tools. You will use your QTS qualification and German teaching experience to ensure AI systems are safe, linguistically accurate, and pedagogically sound for UK learners.
Key responsibilities
- Design realistic student‑teacher dialogues covering German grammar, vocabulary and syntax.
- Create benchmarking criteria to test AI translation accuracy and conversational flow.
- Score AI responses and develop rubrics that evaluate how well the AI guides learners.
- Provide feedback to developers on language‑specific issues and safeguarding considerations.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching German in secondary schools.
- Specific experience teaching Year 9 German.
- Ability to work independently using web‑based platforms and a reliable internet connection.
Required skills
- Proficiency with German character sets (umlauts, ß) in digital environments.
What we offer
