About the role
Penguin Recruitment is supporting a UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy in Birmingham. The Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will deliver surveying and analytical services across commercial, industrial and public sector sites throughout the Midlands.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
- Undertake air monitoring, including 4‑stage clearances and re‑occupation certification
- Conduct bulk sampling in line with company procedures
- Produce accurate reports following HSG264 and HSG248 guidance
- Manage workloads across multiple client sites
- Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality assurance
Required profile
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and industry compliance requirements
- Professional, organised and reliable approach
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
