About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Aldi in Teesside, you will support the Store Manager in running a multi‑million‑pound retail operation. You will help drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain efficient store processes while developing a diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with deliveries, stock ordering and handling customer enquiries.
• Manage team performance, schedule holiday rotas and oversee day‑to‑day people management.
• Work towards store targets for sales, cost control and operational efficiency.
• Step into the Store Manager’s role when required, ensuring continuity of leadership.
