Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior – London

About the role

This position offers an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior the chance to develop their career within a supportive, professional accountancy firm in London. You will work closely with experienced accountants and managers, delivering high‑quality audit and accounting services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Support and undertake audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Assist with personal tax work when required.
• Prepare management accounts and related financial information.
• Liaise with clients and respond to queries.
• Support junior team members.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and statutory accounts.
• Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and/or sole traders.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification/study advantageous (not mandatory).
