Audit Semi Senior – Manchester

About the role

This Audit Semi Senior position supports the delivery of high‑quality audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with senior team members, developing technical expertise and client‑facing skills while contributing to planning, testing and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution and completion of audit engagements across various sectors.
• Perform audit testing, document evidence and prepare statutory financial statements in line with UK GAAP.
• Identify audit risks, recommend improvements and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and collaborate with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or newly qualified ACA / ACCA.
• Previous experience in external audit within a UK accountancy firm.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
