AWS System Administrator

About the role

Accenture is looking for an experienced AWS System Administrator to join its Birmingham team. The role focuses on delivering integrated automation, DevOps, and cloud solutions across hybrid environments while supporting the company’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automation solutions using DevOps toolsets such as Ansible, Jenkins and Git.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and related technologies.
• Build and operate continuous delivery pipelines for cloud‑native and hybrid workloads.
• Define and execute the roadmap for DevOps implementation aligned with business and technical goals.
• Collaborate with IT Service Management processes (ServiceNow) for incident, change and problem management.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Solaris, Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Associate‑level cloud certification in AWS or Azure.
• Practical experience with Azure and AWS compute, networking, storage and security services.
• Eligibility for BPSS and SC security clearance, requiring five years continuous UK address history.
