Banking & Finance Associate (4-8 PQE) – Jersey

About the role

We are seeking a Banking & Finance Associate to join a top‑tier offshore firm in Jersey. The role offers hands‑on involvement in a wide range of complex financing transactions, working closely with both lenders and borrowers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on real‑estate, leveraged, fund and acquisition finance deals across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft and review financing documentation, including loan agreements, security documents and related correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Liaise with senior partners, clients and external counsel to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a leading law firm.
• Admission to the bar in England & Wales, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
• Strong academic record and experience in banking and finance law.
• Willingness to relocate and live in Jersey.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating financing agreements.
• Knowledge of multi‑jurisdictional finance structures.
