Biology Teacher – Secondary School (Hillingdon)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Hillingdon from September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging biology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality biology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess student work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the science department and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching biology in a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
