About the role
Epicor is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new revenue opportunities through proactive outreach and lead qualification. You will work closely with sales teams to build a robust pipeline of mid‑size to large enterprise prospects.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct cold outreach and respond to warm leads via phone, email, and social media.
- Identify target accounts, prepare prospecting materials, and hand off qualified opportunities to sales.
- Engage C‑Level and senior decision‑makers at mid‑size to large businesses.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly metrics such as calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals.
- Perform market research to support Territory Managers.
- Continuously learn Epicor’s applications, value proposition and differentiation.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the company’s CRM system.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in business management or marketing.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, inside sales or a related industry (manufacturing, distribution, retail, lumber, auto).
- Proven ability to meet quota goals and track record of lead qualification.
- Excellent phone voice, written and verbal communication skills.
