Business Manager - Music

About the role

We are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a passion for music and entertainment to join a specialist Music Finance Division. The role supports a portfolio of music, touring and label clients, delivering accurate financial reporting and contributing to the growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end financial statements for limited companies, LLPs and sole traders.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Review and analyse financial information across music, tour and label activities.
• Prepare month‑end group reporting files and consolidate cash‑flow forecasts.
• Manage head‑office accounting, including actuals, budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with bookkeepers and trainee accountants to meet compliance deadlines.
• Support the Head of Department with ad‑hoc projects and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
• 2+ years experience in a music‑industry accounting firm or related entertainment sector.
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice serving music clients.
• Strong experience in accounts preparation and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach with ability to manage deadlines.
• Genuine interest in music and entertainment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
