Business Support Coordinator

About the role
This position supports a fast‑growing start‑up, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the HR Director. You will keep operations, HR administration, and day‑to‑day business support running smoothly as the company scales.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Support reporting activities, including KPIs, budgets, and cash‑flow information.
- Manage procurement administration: obtain quotes, raise purchase orders, monitor deliveries and resolve supply issues.
- Oversee service contracts, facilities administration, and site‑wide supplies (PPE, stationery).
- Maintain company registers, key business records, and documentation for compliance reporting.
- Coordinate SharePoint administration, document control, and filing systems.
- Assist HR functions such as recruitment coordination and onboarding documentation.
- Contribute to wider management reporting and drive operational improvements.
Required profile
- Experience in business support, operations, HR admin, or coordination roles.
- Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with documentation and systems.
- Confident communicator able to work with senior stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude with a passion for process improvement and supporting growth.
Required skills
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Experience using SharePoint.
- Familiarity with Xero.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (any).
